The "ITV@Mount Waverley" magazine first hit the streets in Mount Waverley during the winter of 2008. After the collapse of the "Village Voice", some local traders approached me to see if I would put together a magazine that would showcase their businesses to the community. Thinking that this would probably be too hard to finance without Local Government help, I looked into it and found that there would probably be enough support from within the Mount Waverley Village. My thoughts on the magazine were to bring the local community into the Village whilst getting the traders involved in the community by helping publish a magazine with community based articles in it. This was the genesis of the "ITV@Mount Waverley". Download the “ITV” ADVERTISING RATES or contact Perry at Gaylard Graphic Design Melbourne on 0425 728 505, pez@gaylardgraphics.com.au.
With ongoing support from the Mount Waverley Traders, the "ITV" should continue to deliver valuable local news/articles to the community as well as supply high quality advertising and help the development of the Mount Waverley Village. Below are past editions of the "ITV@Mount Waverley" that can be downloaded in pdf format.

The first suburban land sale in Monash was called Waverley and was between Holy Family and the reservoir area. It became Mount Waverley in 1905, the same year the first shop in the current Village area opened - Tait's Post Office and store in Stephensons Rd. By 1961 the area was booming, and many more shops sprang up in the new Hamilton Place.

Mount Waverley has come along way since those early years, the population reaching around 30,000. The Mount Waverley Shopping Centre has blossomed with an abundance of fine eateries and coffee shops. With personal shopping in a village atmosphere, Mount Waverley Shopping Centre has something for everyone and is well worth a visit.
